8. Mustang Mach 1
Sitting behind the wheel of a classic Mach 1 is every Mustang lover’s dream. The Mach 1 was introduced as one of seven performance packages Ford dreamed up to try and increase Mustang sales to younger drivers, and it worked — at least for most of them. The Mach 1 was one of the most popular packages. It even drove Ford’s GT title out of production for more than a decade!
The Mach 1 came equipped with Ford’s signature 5.8L 8-cylinder engine and a variety of suspension and transmission packages that were customizable to the needs of the driver. The only thing the Mach 1 didn’t have going for it is you couldn’t get it with a convertible top!
The Mach 1 was also featured in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever, making it the perfect collector’s piece for Bond fans or Mustang enthusiasts alike!
