25 Motorcycles Worth More Than Most Supercars

3 1937 Crocker “Hemi-Head” – $276,500

This is one of the first five Crockers built, all of which had exposed valves inclined at 90 degrees in the hemispherical combustion chamber (try explaining that to a person who doesn’t know engines, oof).

The bike also had a cast aluminum head and a constant-mesh transmission which beat out Harley-Davidson’s by a margin.

To further try to out-do the competition, the motors were built with thicker cylinders to be able to tolerate over-boring. The motorcycle displayed is the best example of this early Crocker model, and won Best of Show and Judges’ Choice at the Del Mar Concours after it was restored by Johnny Eagles.
