4 1911 Harley-Davidson 7D Twin – $283,400
This is potentially the first V-Twin Harley-Davidson model. Although records show that the press showed it in 1908, there hasn’t been a Harley motorcycle found before this 1911 7D. Being only one of four known to exist still, its sports a 6.5-horsepower V-Twin. Only 5,625 were produced at a price of $300 each (almost $8,000 today). Having been designed with a distinct frame that separated it from previous models, the 1911 7D is truly a first (even though it is our second Harley on this list), and I’m honestly surprised it didn’t sell for more. These old Harley-Davidsons are an impression from time long gone by, and it’s great to see one beautifully restored, complete even with the pedals used to get it going so it’ll start up.
