13. Corvette Stingray Concept

If you remember Sideswipe from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, then you know this is what the character transformed into. The Corvette Stingray Concept was built to celebrate 50 years of the Stingray model. Some features nod to the original car(like the split rear window), but it also has unique touches like scissor-style doors, rear view camera with night vision and a hybrid engine. The car debuted at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show and in 2013, it was announced the concept car would become a reality with the production of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. Unfortunately, some of the concept’s features didn’t make the grade and the 2014 Corvette Stingray is missing the scissor-opening doors and split rear window among other details.
