3. Volkswagen Aqua
via boldride.com
We don’t have a flying car quite yet, but driving into the sea is a possibility. The Volkswagen Aqua and its hovercraft-style air cushion allows you to drive across water(as well as ice and snow among other terrain) and go effortlessly between any surfaces at up to 62mph. The Aqua, which uses two hydrogen-powered engines to allow hovering, is good for the environment. The fans at the back of the car/hovercraft are disguised as wheels and provide forward thrust and directional control necessary for a vehicle of this sort. Though it looks slightly like a spaceship(and has some of the same capabilities too), the design is sleek, clean, and modern and any driver would happily hop aboard.
