12 Chrysler Pacifica
Chrysler first retired the Pacifica brand in 2008, after only 4 years of unsuccessful midsize SUV sales. In a completely unexpected move, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) reintroduced the brand in 2016 as a minivan. Sales in the United States nearly doubled to 120,000 units in 2017. That’s a clear indication as you’ll ever get that minivans are still in demand.
The interior features, which are arguably the most important part of a minivan’s repertoire, are very impressive. There are over 100 features, from a surround-view camera and adaptive cruise control to the industry-favorite Stow ‘n Go seats. The Honda Odyssey is priced at nearly $3,000 more and requires that customers pay a significant premium for most features that are standard in the Pacifica.
