16 Hyundai Genesis G70
New for 2017 is the Hyundai Genesis G70, a compact luxury sedan that hopes to take a piece from an all-German pie that consists of the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. While there’s no doubt about the Genesis’ performance and value for money, there was concern about whether the interior would match up against the more experienced foes in its class.
However, the G70 doesn’t disappoint. Materials are high quality, and much of the center stack is angled away from the passenger, making it a more driver-centric experience. There’s plenty of soft-touch surfaces as you’d expect in the class and a fairly good selection of two-tone leather trim colors. An 8-inch infotainment unit paired to a great-sounding 15-speaker Lexicon audio system is standard.
